Andy “Ando” Crete founded MSXR with a mission to gamify education in a way that makes kids excited to learn. Growing up in the Central Valley of California, Ando always gravitated towards games. He studied filmmaking with a minor in business management at University of the Pacific before moving to Los Angeles to chase the dream of being an independent filmmaker.

Since moving back from Southern California, Ando has pivoted from developing content for the screen to developing content for Virtual Reality. He is determined that his love of storytelling can translate into a learning environment in a way that allows kids to retain information in a more engaging way than currently available. Ando loves talking about virtual reality, augmented reality and their educational applications and is currently on a mission to bring more AR and VR (or, collectively XR) content and technology to local learning centers.
